With Dayton’s loss last night the are going to need some help to make the playoffs. South Bend has a half game lead right now and holds the tie breaker with 2 games left on their schedule against Lansing who is 27-40 in the second half. Dayton has 3 games left but head to Great Lakes to take on the Loons who are 39-28 in the second half. If South Bend splits the 2 game series, Dayton with have to sweep Great Lakes.

How wild of a night was it on the farm last evening? Billings won both games of a double header by walk off HR’s in a tie game (Sean Conner hit a walk off slam in game 1 and Cristobal Rodriguez hit a walk off 3 run HR in game 2), Dayton lost in 10 innings and Louisville won in 16 innings. That is a crazy night of baseball.

I was at the Dragons game last night and noticed that Donnie Joseph was slowing down his arm action for his offspeed pitches. I didn’t notice it any other time I watched him throw, but I am going to go back and watch the video from the last time I saw him throw. Its been a long season and it was his 3rd day in a row throwing (didn’t pitch in the game yesterday, but he was warming up for a while), so it may have just been a little bit of fatigue after a long season and work.

JC Sulbaran is leaving the Dragons to participate in the World Baseball Cup for the Netherlands. Even if the Dragons make the playoffs, Sulbaran will not be returning this year.

I have gotten a decent chunk of video over the past week or so up in Dayton. Over the next week I will get around to uploading it all to youtube. I have a lot of editing to do with it all still though.
