Tomorrow I will get back to doing my Season Review articles when I do a  rundown on the Billings Mustangs.

The Reds have called up Juan Francisco and recalled Jay Bruce from rehab. Francisco certainly had a very good year, but there are two issues at work here. First, where are you going to play him? Secondly, he isn’t ready. Its good to reward a guy for a strong season, but I hope he doesn’t get exposed with some playing time in the majors.

A little note on Drew Stubbs that I thought was worth noting. In is 61 August plate appearances he had just 3 walks and 20 strikeouts. In September he has had 5 walks and just 12 strikeouts in 55 plate appearances.

Former Reds prospect Justin Turner made his MLB debut last week and is now 2-7 in his short MLB career. Congrats to Justin.

Every team in the Reds system is now finished playing baseball. We have to wait until the AFL starts up to see some of our guys playing again, but there should be some guys that head to the Dominican and Puerto Rican winter leagues to play as well.
