You can see Part 1 Here.  Again, I am going to be covering 8 players per day since the Reds signed 32 players and it makes it nice and easy to spread it out over 4 days.

Eighth Round – Juan Silva – OF

The Puerto Rican draftee was the best hitter on the GCL Reds this season and even got an honorable mention on the All GCL Team over at Silva hit .280/.372/.462 for the Reds in his debut.

Pearl had a strong debut out of the Billings bullpen where he posted a 3.77 ERA, had 10 walks and 43 strikeouts in 28.2 innings. Pearl had a very high 34.1% strikeout rate. His ERA was much higher than his 2.86 FIP.

Tenth Round – Tucker Barnhart – C

Barnhart was a late signing and only got 55 plate appearances toward the end of the season for the GCL Reds. He showed good plate discipline during that time with 6 walks and 9 strikeouts. Defensively he threw out 45% of the 11 baserunners who tried to steal on him.

Eleventh Round – Jacob Johnson – RHP

The 18 year old righty put up a 2.83 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over 47.2 innings for the GCL Reds in his debut. Johnson had a 56% groundball rate to go along with a solid walk (8.2%) and strikeout rate (19%).
