Twenty Second Round – David Stewart – 1B

Stewart only got into a handful of games with the GCL Reds this season. He hit .158/.200/.158 in 20 plate appearances.

Twenty Third Round – Chris Richburg – 1B

Richburg hit .274/.378/.395 for Billings this year. Richburg had an 11.2% walk rate and 22.7% strikeout rate in 185 plate appearances.

Twenty Fourth Round – Derrick Lowery – 1B

The lefty didn’t get much playing time with the GCL Reds as he hit .260/.339/.280 with 10.7% walk rate and a 23.2% strikeout rate in 56 plate appearances.

Twenty Sixth Round – Trey Manz – C

Manz began the year with the GCL Reds and hit .316/.395/.605 in 43 plate appearances. He went to Billings and did more of the same as he hit .306/.333/.510 in 54 plate appearances.

Twenty Ninth Round – Jason Braun – RHRP

The tall righty had a 5.45 ERA, but had solid peripherals with an 8.1% walk rate, 20.1% strikeout rate and a 61% groundball rate. Had a FIP of 4.23 for the Mustangs.

Thirtieth Round – Yovan Gonzalez – C

The 19 year old struggled at the plate in his brief go around of the GCL where he hit .208/.286/.229 with a 7.1% walk rate and an 8.9% strikeout rate in 56 plate appearances.

Thirty First Round – Adian Kummet – RHRP

Coming out of the Billings bullpen Kummet had a 4.60 ERA with 7.6% walk rate, 18.2% strikeout rate, no HR allowed and a 52% groundball rate over 29.1 innings.

Thirty Second Round – Shane Carlson – SS

Carlson had a tough task as he was asked to fill in for Sarasota after the draft where he was overmatched at the plate. Carlson hit .210./248/.250 in Sarasota. The shortstop did play a week in Billings at the start of the year.
