Thirty Third Round – Will Stramp – 3B
Stramp began the year on the DL and missed a lot more time than expected. Once he returned there wasn’t much playing time for him. While playing 3B/LF Stramp hit .220/.291/.260 in 55 plate appearances.
Thirty Fourth Round – Forest Cannon – RHRP
The righty reliever only threw 10.1 innings in July and didn’t throw another pitch this season. Cannon had 7 walks and 9 strikeouts to go with a 4.56 ERA over that time.
Thirty Fifth Round – Oliver Santos – 3B
It looks like a common theme of guys not getting much playing time this late in the draft and Santos isn’t much different. Santos hit .214/.329/.286 spread over 82 plate appearances on the season.
Thirty Sixth Round – Chris Burleson – SS
Burleson did not play this season.
Thirty Seventh Round – Dayne Read – OF
Same for Read, who saw no action.
Thirty Eighth Round – Thomas Nurre -1B
Nurre started off solidly for Billings as he hit .292/.333/.417 in July, but struggled down the stretch as he dropped his overall line to .224/.291/.397 with a rough August.
