JC Sulbaran has been placed on the DL with a hand injury. Tzu-Kai Chiu has been called up from Billings. Matt Leonard was sent from the AZL Reds to Billings.
It looks like that Neftali Soto is done catching for the season. Chris Lang notes that while he hasn’t caught since early June, Soto has been catching bullpen sessions and some batting practice. My guess as well as his is that Soto spends time back behind the plate in the Instructional League after the season.
The Reds signed Jason Isringhausen to a minor league deal and sent him to Louisville. I doubt he stays there long, but could be there until August rolls around to get things going for him.

In this start Chapman showed off a much more consistent and tightly spun slider. However, there were a couple of red flags that also popped up that I have some concern about.
