Baseball America released their Cincinnati Reds Top 10 prospect list earlier today. You can see the entire list for every team unveiled so far at this link. If you want to read the scouting reports on their Top 10 you will need to be a Baseball America subscriber. Here’s how their list stacks up compared to the others:

The Baseball Prospectus and Fangraphs list came out before the Reds made trades of Mat Latos and Alfredo Simon, so be sure to note that. The only place left that hasn’t released their Reds list to this point is John Sickels over at MinorLeagueBall.com.
For the most part a lot of the names are the same. I seem to be the outlier on Sal Romano and Baseball Prospectus on Gavin Lavalley. It’s been a clean sweet for Robert Stephenson in the top spot.
If you aren’t a subscriber at Baseball America but want a little more insight into what the author of the list has to say, he spoke with C. Trent Rosecrans at the Enquirer this morning about the list some, and it’s free.
This list has better information on the Reds prospects than was in the League Top 20 that was put out right after the season ended, but there are some parts of the scouting reports that I don’t really see eye-to-eye with on a few of the pitchers in their Top 10. Velocities are a tad low on a few guys and a tad high on one guy from what I saw and had reported to me.
