Sorry for no post this morning – I’m taking care of, or trying to take care of some things (shopping for, buying a new camera for video for the site – the one I’ve used in the past took a tumble in Dayton last August and doesn’t quite work properly anymore). So I’ve spent way too much time researching the two cars (one was an Audi A3 and the other one was a Toyota Corolla) that I’ve been looking at, and talking to my i4mt and One Sure Insurance company to make sure if I buy one that they will insure it for the stuff I need (waiting for a call back on this). Never the less, it’s taken up a lot of my time along with trying to also figure out if/when I can make it to Arizona for spring training along with buying this new camera for the season (it better last more than one season – but I have to pay for it now).

With all of that said, let’s talk about who you would vote for to get into the Hall of Fame, and who you believe will actually get in today. Here’s the list of players on the ballot this year:

  • Jeff Bagwell
  • Casey Blake
  • Barry Bonds
  • Pat Burrell
  • Orlando Cabrera
  • Mike Cameron
  • Roger Clemens
  • JD Drew
  • Vladimir Guerrero
  • Carlos Guillen
  • Trevor Hoffman
  • Jeff Kent
  • Derrek Lee
  • Edgar Martinez
  • Fred McGriff
  • Melvin Mora
  • Mike Mussina
  • Magglio Ordonez
  • Jorge Posada
  • Tim Raines
  • Manny Ramirez
  • Edgar Renteria

  • Freddy Sanchez
  • Curt Schilling
  • Gary Sheffield
  • Lee Smith
  • Sammy Sosa
  • Matt Stairs
  • Jason Varitek
  • Billy Wagner
  • Tim Wakefield
  • Larry Walker

You can only vote for 10 players. Here’s my list, in alphabetical order:

  1.  Jeff Bagwell
  2. Barry Bonds
  3. Robert Clemens
  4. Vladimir Guerrero
  5. Edgar Martinez
  6. Mike Mussina
  7. Tim Raines
  8. Ivan Rodriguez
  9. Curt Schilling
  10. Larry Walker

I believe that we will see these guys get in today:

  1. Jeff Bagwell
  2. Tim Raines
  3. Ivan Rodriguez

What do you guys think?
