Cincinnati Reds Minor League Game Preview – 4/5/17

The Minor League Baseball season gets underway later this evening for the Cincinnati Reds organization. While it’s not the best day of the year, it’s certainly near the top of the list.

Daytona will get things kicked off for the Cincinnati Reds organization at 6:35pm. They have yet to list a probable starter for the game (at least as I type this at 2:11am). The Dayton Dragons will turn to Tony Santillan at 7:00pm. Five minutes later the Louisville Bats will give the ball to Sal Romano who will be making his Triple-A debut. At 7:35pm (ET) the Pensacola Blue Wahoos will look at Tyler Mahle as their opening day starter.

As in years past, the games will all be available to listen to online. All of the Triple-A games will be available through the MiLB.tv package. All of the Pensacola home games should be available, as well as many of their road games. Unfortunately only one team in the Florida State League will have video for MiLB.tv, and it’s Bradenton. The Tortugas only play them once on the road all season and it’s not until late August. All of the Dayton Dragons home games, and some of their road games will also be available through the MiLB.tv package.
