Anyone know anything about Rylan Thomas, is he still with the Reds?
Wondering about Michael Beltre and Chad Tromp as well.
I know a lot of things about him. Still with the Reds. Dinged up.
Should have mentioned it yesterday but didn’t. Is Michael Byrne another example of the Reds trying to make a college reliever into a starter? That has worked so wonderfully in the past with Cingrani, Johnson, Lorenzen, etc.
Not to mention Brandon Finnegan.
Finnegan was a starter in college.
Byrne was going to be a starter this year at Florida. In order to sign him, they had to agree to let him start. He gets to start until he fails. And the Reds get an arm that had a lot of success in the SEC.
