The Reds had four hits last night and scored three runs. The Bats had 11 hits and scored three runs.

    Timing. Timing. Random chance?

  2. RojoBenjy

So, are Refsnyder and Colon just career AAA players at this point?

Doug, What are your thoughts on O’Grady and Aquino. Do you see them being able to push for playing time at the big league level this year? Seems we could seriously use an infusion of hitting in two of the spots that they play.

    • kevinz

Aquino has only around 70 AB’s so that really a small sample size.
Grady could be Possible. He did well at AAA last year at the end. Bigger sample size.

Well BR still a issue Reds. last 2 days come on i know better than that Senzel.
Not sure if on him or 1st base coach.

Agreed. Half swings and check swings non stop.

Tough Loss Reds. Many of those so far. Another day off tomm.
Seems when Pitch well cannot rake it. Once Rake can’t Pitch.
If can combine the 2 more often. def should be 500 or lil above.
The saying always goes Your record is what it says it is.

Some Early thoughts on Senzel. It could be his timing like he mentioned.
He has to find a way to hit RHP. Hard to be part of a platoon as a RHH.
Here is to him figuring it out.

      • Doug Gray

He’s played less than three weeks in the Major Leagues.

      • kevinz

That why called it Early thoughts lol. Early opinion on a Hyped Player.

      • Oldtimer

Early thoughts on Pete Rose in 1963 and 1964. hit .273 and .269 respectively. Then hit over .300 most of next 20 years. He slumped his first month in 1963 (briefly benched in favor of Don Blasingame).

        Senzel will be just fine.

KZ, no offense, but can we keep the play by play for the big club to sites like Redlegsbaseball?

My bad RKAD. I Promise will only do it on Day games. That usually when my son at school. Sry, for my bad Play by Play.
