Man the top pitching prospects have really had a rough go of it this season. It’s disappointing. Greene with surgery, Santillan taking a step back at the same level, Gutierrez struggling big time in AAA. Better keep trading for pitching because they haven’t been able to develop it.
Why only 1.1 IP for Lodolo? It was only 29 pitches and he his last batter he struck out after only giving up 2 singles?
Fairchild got the bump to AA, good to see. Hopefully he keeps on raking.
Missoula announcers said he would have a 25-pitch limit.
They also commented about Billings playing so poorly due to their lack of pre-season preparedness.
Nick Travieso really struggled with his control and command. These are real issues when recovering from shoulder surgery, more so than an elbow.
Wonder who gets the short straw in the outfield mix in Chattanooga?
Even with Fairchild, Chattanooga only has 3 outfielders on the roster. Friedl went to IL.
Thanks, didn’t know about Friedl.
Don’t feel like you missed much – the move was made prior to the game this morning.
MK- intriguing comment about preparation. Was it different from prior seasons? With a new farm director is there a change that brought it about?
Mitch Nay continues to rake. It would be nice if there was some room at Louisville for him. Love to see what he could do with that ball.
I’m honestly a little bit surprised he hasn’t been promoted at this point.
