Nick Lodolo finally walked a hitter as a professional (and then some), Mark Kolozsvary racked up another extra-base hit, Noah Davis struck out eight batters and allowed just one hit for Dayton, and Narciso Crook had a big night for Chattanooga.

Looks like Alfrod and Garcia continue to hit.
Would be a nice development if Alfredo continues to hit.
Not sure if it’s just me, but when I go to the site via the URL, I can’t see this post.
I was able to follow your link on twitter and make it here, though.
Well this is weird…. this published when I hit publish, but for some reason it “published” for May 7th. So I had to go in and change the date (not the title) to get it “to the top”.
Sorry about that, everyone – I have no idea how that’s even possible.
Any reason to be worried about Lodolo Doug? Zero walks in his career prior to this. TIA
Not really, no. The control was good the first two innings. He just seemed to lose it there in the final two innings. That’s going to happen to just about everyone every so often. Now, if he goes back out there on Tuesday and it’s another game that follows along those two innings we’re going to need to take a closer look at the mechanics and see what’s up.
Miguel Hernandez has had a nice physical transformation in last year. In 2019 he looked like you could knock the bat out of his hands. His upper body has really developed. Looks like he worked hard in time off.
And he’s a shortstop!
And a shortstop with a good chance to stay at the position.
Hi Doug, do you know why Siani and his outstanding defense are DH’ing since the beginning of the season? Thanks.
I do not. Listening to the Dragons game the other night tells you all you need to know about how slow news is going to trickle out: Even their announcer didn’t know because he’s not really allowed to talk to the players/coaches because he’s not a “tier 1” person. Toss in that broadcasters also aren’t traveling with the team on the road this year and it makes gathering information that would usually be very easy to get, incredibly difficult.
well, that explains it…thank you for replying and keep up your excellent (“tier 1”) work on both sites!
I’m not sure when I’ll next talk to someone that is employed by the Reds in the farm system, but I’ll try to remember to ask about it when that happens (next week is my best guess).
awesome
Shoulder issue. Sounds like something that doesn’t effect his hitting/running, but is enough to keep him from playing in the field.
Thanks Doug
Wow. Graham Ashcroft. Nice night.
Austin Hendricks, nice to see 5/6 including his BB.
Liking this young talent.
