AlfRod keeps rollin. :)
How much longer should the Reds hold with Suárez before calling him up? Perhaps they wait until some players get back from the IL? I suppose now that so many are on the IL that Suárez has to stay put?
I mean, I don’t think he’d be much of an offensive downgrade from Blandino/Farmer, and if he helps the defense, I don’t think it matters who is on the IL.
I still come here to read the extra articles. Wish Doug could get a grant to give everyone the daily Top 25 prospect list and what they done the previous day. Helps me keep up with who is playing and who is injured.
We should also apply for a FEMA grant on behalf of the Reds. They look life a disaster to me.
What kind of chance does Michael Byrne have of being an above average (but not elite, of course) bullpen piece? Is he one of those guys that will need to prove himself at every single level, now here in AA and then in AAA?
I think he’s a prove himself at every level kind of guy. So far he’s doing a good job of that in Double-A.
Louisville started a lefty, Sanmartin and followed him with three left handed relievers before closing with Fulmer who recorded his first career save at any level.
It was a sinister night for the Bats
Hunter Greene at 101 pitches today. 70 strikes.
