The full season teams all have Monday off. Only the two complex teams play on Monday and they start 10.5 hours apart, which makes for an interesting work day when one game starts at 10:30am and the next one begins at 9:00pm.

If you are interested in getting emailed every day during the season with additional game notes and a rundown on how the Cincinnati Reds Top 25 Prospects performed (along with other perks) you can sign up to support the site through Patreon and get all of that for a few bucks a month. If that’s something that sounds interesting you can get more information here.

When might one start to hear of some signings of draftees. Phillies have already inked their top 10 draftees, per MLB trade rumors.

The Reds transaction page notes that they signed Ruben Ibarra. I would expect you to start seeing them come across any day as some of them probably agreed to but just need to be finalized and signed.

The draft tracker in this website shows a total of 6 signings. Included is 3rd rounder Jose Torres, who signed for $622,500 according to Jim Callis (slightly under slot). Blake Dunn signed for $125K (per Callis).

I imagine they are working on Mat Nelson as according to Johnny Bench on TV Nelson will be in Cincy today to receive his Award as Too College Catcher.
I find it odd that award is named for Bench since he did not attend college.

Hey Doug. Is there a place to look for probable starters for the Lookouts? Or do you know which game this week Lodolo is expected to start? We will be in Chattanooga Friday & Saturday and want to catch the game he’s expected to pitch. Thanks for the help!

No. Chattanooga has not had their probables listed all year. It’s mildly annoying. Best bet is to just count games. They’ve got a 5-man rotation. Find his last start and count forward.

You can also call their (Lookouts) front office/ticket booth. They usually have a good idea where the rotation lies.
