Is Reiver Sanmartin a prospect at all? Is he someone we could see in Cincinnati soon? Every time I look at his numbers, I’m impressed!

Same with Moreta. He’s performed in both Chattanooga and Louisville (4 games). Looked at an old scouting report, 3 average to above average pitches. Only problem would be if he is still a “fly ball pitcher” as described in the scouting report.

For those clamoring for Barrero to go to Cincinnati, I’d love to see it too, but, I don’t think his bat will be enough to help this team if they don’t beef up their bullpen/5th starter. I’d leave him in Louisville unless the Reds FO is going to push the chips in and go for gold. Especially since he’d replace Farmer, who has been hitting better than Suarez. Because I just don’t see the Reds benching Suarez (even if it may be the right thing to do).

What happened to the pitchers on our minors teams? Several were showing consistent, positive results in first couple months. The guys in Dayton and Daytona aren’t pitching anywhere near like they were. Is this a sign Boddy isn’t helping as much as we thought he would?
