I’m feeling we ought to bump Jay Allen up to Daytona so we can see what we’ve got.
By all accounts, this is a premier athlete with extensive history in competition. If he struggles or scuffles, who cares at this juncture. Pretty sure Jay Allen won’t fret too much.
Reds got Allen for losing Bauer?
Yeah. Nelson was the competitive balance pick.
I guess I look at Hendrick and see how he struggles and would just as soon leave Allen alone to adjust to baseball everyday. There isn’t a need to rush him.
Chattanooga has declined a lot in recent weeks, losing a large number of games. ACL Reds are the hot Cincinnati farm system team right now… Matt Nelson had 4 Ks in 4 PAs so we can expect this kind of days from Nelson I guess… Roa was rocked … Cedrola continues hitting very well showing he is ready to face AAA maybe by 2022…
Mike Freeman is batting fourth for Louisville… Is Bell managing the Bats ?
Lodolo only pitched 1 inning? He leave w injury??
huh? what game are you looking at?
He did strike out the side…..
No. That was planned. He missed his last start with a shoulder issue. They had been watching his pitch count since he returned from the blisters. Just easing him back in.
Guessing having him followed by Antone and Feliz was a convenient piggyback for anybody from the front office there to scout.
sheesh, rough night on the farm. Seems all the levels have declined in the 2nd half. And Louisville – too many 40 man roster/former major leaguers on that team to be hitting that poorly. We’ve graduated a lot of talent this year but several of the levels seem to need a kick in the pants. It one thing to get beat but Louisville and Chattanooga seem to get slaughtered on a nightly basis.
