Complex Monday was originally scheduled to have three games, but somewhere between Sunday night and Monday morning the schedule for the DSL Reds went from a doubleheader to a single game. Carlos Jorge and Johnny Ascanio continued their impressive professional debut seasons with multi-hit games in a DSL Reds win, and down in Goodyear Ilvin Fernandez picked up his first professional home run.

All Reds farm system teams playing .500 or above, excepting Louisville although if I’m not wrong it has better record than the past seasons

Johnny Ascanio has a .494 OBP in 24 games. BB > K. Also been hit by 8 pitches. He seems like he will be an interesting follow through the Reds system.

Astudillo is putting up some nice stats in the ACL. I just wonder why he is still there. They promoted then demoted Wolforth because they needed a first baseman/catcher in Daytona. Why not the experienced guy taking at bats from inexperienced guy.

Curious what is being heard about Salcedo since he appears to be continuing to hit at a relatively good rate?
