Louisville’s offense got contributions from almost everyone in a 10-run outburst that saw Alfredo Rodriguez pick up his 3rd homer of the year, Lorenzo Cedrola and Robbie Tenerowicz continued to rake for Chattanooga as they both homered, Allan Cerda hit his 17th homer and Juan Martinez reached base 5 times in Dayton’s win, and Joe Boyle struck out 10 while Rece Hinds hit a 426-foot homer for Daytona.

Figured I’d just drop this one in here since it’s less likely to be seen in the original comments section from a few days ago: The Reds are having instructs after the season this year. Should start at the end of this month and go for about a month.

Any news on who will go to the Arizona fall league? Lodolo or kuhnel? What about Friedl? Who will be the minor league players the Reds could lose to free agency? Would adding a player to the 40 man keep the Reds from losing minor league players to free agency?

No clue on who is going to the AFL for the Reds.

Yes, adding someone to the 40-man would prevent a guy who would otherwise a 6-year free agent from becoming a free agent.

Is it 6 years to be a minor league free agent for everyone or does it matter if they are drafted out of HS, college or an international signing?

How long does Winker have to stay in AAA? IMO he needs to start tonight for the Reds. He can’t do worse than anyone who Bell available.

He doesn’t have to stay there. But they probably want to get him through an entire game, probably.
