The DSL Reds were the only team on the schedule for Tuesday, though it’s just them and Louisville that remain on the field – but the Bats had the day off. The guys in the Dominican lost 6-2 and didn’t score until the bottom of the 9th.

The Bats will return to the field on Wednesday afternoon with a 5-game home series against Toledo in the first of two 5-game series in the “Triple-A Playoffs” which will feature every team having a home and road series and the team with the best winning percentage being named “Playoff Champion”.

    Carlos Jorge is having a pretty solid professional debut tour. 7 triples in 38 games (for context, the MLB leader this year has 8 in 140 games). Lots of names in the DSL that I’m excited to see in ACL next year (or higher levels if they get there!)

    I’m slightly surprised that the Reds didn’t give Ashcraft a couple of chances at AAA, since Greene hit his innings limit.
