In the 2021 season he took over as the pitching coach for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers, the Astros Low-A team.

He previously worked in the Dodgers organization as a hitting coach as well as in the Mexican League (and winter league) where he also served as a hitting coach.

Lenny Harris will be returning to Daytona as the bench coach, which is the role he also served in back in 2019 with the Tortugas. Last season he was the development coach in Double-A Chattanooga (and was also expected to be in that role in 2020 before the season was cancelled). He’s also served as the bench coach in 2017 with the AZL Reds and in 2018 with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. The 18-year big league veteran played from 1988-2005, including seven season with the Reds, has also been on the Marlins big league staff as an assistant hitting coach, managed one of their minor league teams, and was a hitting coach in the minors for both the Dodgers and Nationals organizations.
