It’s great to see how Abbott and Aguiar are doing from the 2021 draft but I am curious where Kevin Abel is. Is he at ext spring training or did he retire?
Back in Goodyear.
Thanks. Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday
Siani and Hopkins continue their hot starts.
If Leonardo Rivas develops into something, it’ll make Reds fans feel a little better about the Raisel Iglesias trade last year. Would still have rather had Iglesias in the 2021 bullpen, but alas. They started aligning payroll to resources before they publicly made that comment.
That’s where Rivas came from. I wasn’t familiar with him, but he’s off to a nice start this year.
Eric Yang off to another good start hitting .375 at this point. He did about the same thing at this point last year in Dayton and then went right in the dumper offensively ending the year at .203. Wonder if it was about fatigue?
Sure seemed like fatigue, didn’t it. He was from UCSB and im assuming baseball activities ramp up early
Petty again in relief, this time only for one inning. Not exactly tandem starting. Keep your ears open Doug, I’d hate to think he’s injured as well (as Dunn).
I think you misread something. Petty last pitched on the 15th and did so for 3 innings.
You know, I can almost guarantee they had Petty’s name in the box for the 8th inning instead of Boatman.
I believe it. I was checking in during the day when I had a chance (we celebrated both Easter and a birthday today in my family) and gameday absolutely was having problems with the input data. They eventually got it squared away and correct (after the game was completed).
