Echoing from yesterday’s game review. I’m ready to see Cedrola take Aquino’s spot. Big dropoff in power potential, but, if Aquino isn’t hitting anything, what does power matter? Cedrola is a contact guy.
Wonder how long Cerda will stay in Dayton. He finished last year in Dayton and had a decent showing. He should wind up in Chattanooga at some point this year, I’d figure.
I’ve been beating that same drum. Cedrola needs to be given a shot. We need guys who can get on base right now. With the DH Aquino lost a lot of value. He was a pretty decent PH vs LHP. He brought a dangerous power element to the AB. Now watching him get 4 AB’s a game and doing nothing with them is hurting the team.
I may be the biggest Cerda fan out there but he hasn’t played very well in Dayton so far this season. Hitting .226 with 1 HR. 17 Ks in 39 plare appearances.
