I’m just going to continue beating the Donovan Antonia drum on here every night! Another very good game from him.
Also looks like more of the same from the DSL Reds too. Another day, another solid showing from Pineda, and another error for Cabrera.
I also wanted to ask what was up with the move from Daytona to Arizona for Minier. Was he banged up? Hadn’t played in some time and now he’s going to a middle infield that already has Jorge, Balcazar, and Antonia.
I’ve got to believe that Hendricks had vision problems. Golden sombrero for our first round pick against the mighty lake county captains. Good grief.
And why is joe Boyle still in Daytona? Enough already- let’s challenge the guy.
Hinds with a hamate fracture. Dang, that guy can’t catch a break.
Not that injuries are a good thing, but Hinds losing his power may be a blessing in long-term. Learn to hit, more contact in short-term until hammate fully recovers.
What’s an acceptable strikeout rate for a dude who is pacing for a 43.6 HR/162? Cause that’s what McGarry’s putting up this year. Also has 13 doubles and 3 triples.
In his last 10 games, McLain has a 400 OBP, only a 26% K rate, and a 852 OPS. Maybe he’s about to go on a bit of a tear.
I don’t know, but add in McGarry’s .296 BA, .344 OBP, .951 OPS, and the acceptability goes up even further. Less than 30% is my guess.
