Mat Reynolds hit his 21st homer and drove in three runs in Louisville’s comeback win, Blake Dunn stole his 53rd base of the season to give him the most in a decade on the Reds farm and Chase Petty lowered his ERA to 1.72 with his start for Chattanooga, and Gabriel Aguilera struck out a season high seven batters for Daytona.

Does Collier likely move up to Dayton to start 2024? Seems as though he has been on a fairly sustained run over the last month or so.
I’d hope he does.
That’ll be a young squad at Dayton, with Stewart, Jorge. HRodriguez, Collier, Acosta, with holdovers like Jay Allen and Cade Hunter, and college guys like O’Donnell and Moss. Logan Tanner goes up on his defense alone, I’d think. Maybe Pitelli, too.
There is no way Carson Spiers should be starting MLB games. Bring up Chase Petty instead of him.
Check back in a year on Spiers. He started the year in the AA bullpen but pitched himself into the rotation. I’ve seen him plenty and he has decent talent. You’ll see.
Hurtubise was 0-3 last night…what a bum. Average down to .407 now..
Busenitz with 8th save at AAA.
