Santillan with second save at AAA.
Could be big if we get the old Tony back. Until his injury he was in line to become the closer. I doubt we see that version in 23, but 24 is just around the corner.
Last 5 games Santillan has a 0.00 ERA in 5 innings given up 5 hits and 1 BB with 9 SO’s. I would consider calling him up instead of Spiers who adds nothing.
Spiers can give you innings that Santillan can’t.
Innings at a clip over 9.00 ERA are pretty meaningless.
Not when your bullpen has like half of the top 10 in appearances it’s not.
Agree to disagree…9 ERA Spiers strikes again tonight and adds nothing to this team. Pretty sure Kennedy or Marriot would do better if not Santillan.
Santillan was not going to give you those innings. He just wasn’t. The other two? Sure, they could.
Noticed on Edwin Arroyo’s player page that he’s listed as a switch-hitter AND a switch-thrower??! That can’t be true, right??
Could be right but doubt it is. Never saw him throw left handed
Technically it’s correct. But he’s never done it as a pro. Seems strange that it’s still listed that way.
