Kyle Henley stole three bases to extend his league lead and David Lorduy threw 4.0 hitless innings out in Arizona, Gabriel Gomes got on base twice while scoring two runs for the DSL Reds, and Peson Revierre had three hits with two doubles, two runs, and two RBI for the DSL Rojos in their win.

We’re also trying something new – including one set of game notes each day as a little bit of a “free teaser” for the Patreon stuff, which has seen new subscriptions essentially stop. Maybe we’ve just reached the limit of Reds fans who are interested…. but I figured it was worth a shot.

If you are interested in getting emailed every day during the season with additional game notes and a rundown on how the Cincinnati Reds Top 25 Prospects performed (along with other perks) you can sign up to support the site through Patreon and get all of that for a few bucks a month. If that’s something that sounds interesting you can get more information here.

Thoughts on Henley, Doug? 18 out of 18 SB attempts in 22 games. He is obviously very fast. Noticed he is out of Alpharetta GA which is where I work. This is a suburb of Atlanta and hotbed of baseball talent. CJ Abrahams is from the area and I had no doubt he would be a MLB star when he was in HS and younger. Obviously he was nowhere near as heralded as CJ was but he’s got a big frame that would fill out and provide some pop down the line as well.

You just never know how things will play out when they are that young. Obviously, he’s got tools to work with, most do, but putting them together is the fun part to watch. Hopefully Kyle can do that and reach the majors.

I’m mildly impressed he’s managed to hit .270 so far with a 36% k rate.

It’s early, of course, but he’s got 36 strikeouts in 100 plate appearances. That’s going to have to come down, a lot.

Lin has hits in 15 of 21 games

Sanchez seems to be an as advertised hitter, granted we’re still dealing with a very small sample size.

Also 4 triples and 8 steals in 21 games. Must have alot of speed.

He was said to be one of the fastest runners in last year’s draft (the entire draft, not just the Reds draftees).

It’s nice having at least someone who hits interesting daily at each level now
