Here are prospects #11-15, prospects 16-20 and prospects 21-25.

10. Dave Sappelt – OF – 23 years old – AAA

Background: 9th round – 2008 draft

The Good: Good plate discipline, above average speed, outstanding range and good contact rates.

Needs to work on: His base stealing techniques and perhaps getting used to defense in left field where he may play for the Reds.

9. Brad Boxberger – RHP – 22 years old – AA

Background: 1st round – 2009 draft

The Good: Has above average to plus fastball velocity and a potential plus slider. Pitched well as a starter.

Needs to work on: Finding his role as the Reds haven’t committed to his role one way or the other. If he is starting he must continue to add to his stamina both in games and on the season. Out of the bullpen he needs to find more consistency.

8. Juan Francisco – 3B – 23 years old – MLB

Background: NDFA – May 2004

The Good: His raw power would rate highly among anyone in the world, good hit tool and plus arm strength.

Needs to work on: Learning to take a walk more often and improving his defense as he is prone to errors.

7. Todd Frazier – LF – 24 years old – AAA

Background: 1st round – 2007 draft

The Good: Above average power, position flexibility, leadership and closeness to the Majors.

Needs to work on: He lost some of his plate discipline in 2010. Consistency was also a problem in 2010.

6. Yasmani Grandal – C – 21 years old – Rk

Background: 1st round – 2010

The Good: Switch hitter with good plate discipline, good power for the position and an accurate arm behind the plate.

Needs to work on: Proving himself as a pro as he has limited experience and his defense which has had mixed reviews from pro scouts.

*Ages are listed as the age they played the 2010 season at*
