My take

I am a fan of the pick. While I am not entirely sure about his mechanics, they aren’t scary bad I just don’t think they are very smooth either. The thing that I like the most about the pick though is that the Reds took what to me, seemed to be the guy with a big upside. Stephenson wasn’t the safest pick there, but he has a legit top of the rotation kind of arm with a blistering fastball and a potential plus breaking ball. I have said it the past few seasons, but the Reds scouting group does a great job at identifying talent and once again I feel the need to give them praise for the job they do.

So, what do you guys think?
