The rosters above are set at 25 players, but not every team in the minors uses a 25 man roster. Most teams will carry an extra player during the season though, but one guy will be inactive at times while still with the team. Injuries will certainly open a spot or two throughout the system. By default I have listed 6 players as starters, but for the Blaze, Drew Hayes will be coming out of the bullpen (assuming he is with the Blaze rather than the Blue Wahoos).

For the most part, this team looks very similar to the 2011 Dayton Dragons, with a few hold overs from Bakersfield and an addition from Billings. If that starting rotation is accurate, it could once again be incredibly strong for as long as it stays together. There were few tough calls on the team, most notably with Juan Duran and Yorman Rodriguez making the next step despite some struggles in 2011, but there promotions, for me, were due in part to their potential but also in large part due to the need to get other players time in the full season leagues. There are 11 players on this roster from the Reds Top 40 prospects, the most of any team, with 8 players inside of the Top 20 (post trades).
