Louisville won 9-2. Box Score

• Mike Costanzo went 2-4 with a solo HR (6), walk and 2 runs.
• Felix Perez went 1-1 with 2 runs scored.
• Bill Rhinehart went 1-4 with an RBI and a run.
• Corky Miller went 2-3 with a HR (2) and 2 RBI.
• Sean Gallagher allowed 2 runs in 7 innings with 8 strikeouts.
• Kanekoa Texeira threw a hitless inning with 2 strikeouts.
• Jordan Smith threw a scoreless inning of work.

Game notes

Sean Gallagher had a strong start to lead the Bats to the win. Neftali Soto put the game out of reach in the 7th inning with a 3-run double in an inning that made it 7-1.

Game notes

The Blaze had their 11 game winning streak come to an end. Billy Hamilton didn’t have a hit, but had a walk and 2 steals. That is 28 for him on the season. Donald Lutz remains on fire, hitting .429/.467/.821 over his last 10 games.

Game notes

Strange game, as all 10 runs scored in the game were scored in the 2nd inning of the game. After a big struggle to begin the season, Junior Arias is hitting .333/.351/.500 over his last 10 games. Sean Buckley must have put a serious charge into his home run, as it was 50 degrees with an 18 MPH wind blowing in. Daniel Tuttle with his second strong start in a row.
