Joey Gathright is off to a quick start with a .412/.500/.412 line through his first 17 at bats. Danny Dorn is hitting .375/.405/.600 over his last 10 games with 6 doubles and a home run. Reds could use a lefty bat and Dorn may be the best option in Louisville. The Bats are 8-20 in May, which will be the lowest win total in the last 30 years.

Kurtis Muller is hitting .441 since being brought up from extended spring training 8 games ago. Dan Jensen got the start for Dayton has he continued his struggles as a starter, now sporting a 6.53 ERA with 15 walks and 6 strikeouts in 20.2 innings from the rotation. Compare that with a 1.69 ERA, 3 walks and 12 strikeouts out of the bullpen. Perhaps it is time to see if anyone else can work as a starter to get Jensen back into a groove.
