• Felix Perez went 2-5 with a double and 3 RBI.
• Dioner Navarro went 3-4 with a run.
• Danny Dorn went 3-3 with a double, walk, RBI and 3 runs.
• Corky Miller went 2-2 with 2 walks, a HR (3) and 2 RBI.
• Ryan Feierabend allowed 2 runs in 4.1 innings with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.
• Bill Bray struck out the side in his inning of rehab work (12 pitches).

Game notes

Felix Perez may be warming up as he is hitting .311/.367/.444 in June and even better over his last 10 games (.343/.378/.514). Dioner Navarro is now hitting .333 on the season.

Game notes

The win clinched the first half title for the Blaze and a playoff spot. This was the first time since 1991 that Bakersfield has won the first half title. The Blaze were down 2-0 after 5 innings, but scored 2 runs in each of the 6th and 7th innings to take the lead and the bullpen did a great job in throwing 5 shutout innings to hold the lead. Brian Pearl closed the game out and now has a 1.31 ERA in 34.1 innings with 8 walks and 41 strikeouts.

Game notes

The Dragons had a 4-3 lead heading into the 8th inning but were unable to hold on as they allowed a run in both the 8th and the 9th inning.
