Louisville won 4-3 in 13 innings . Box Score

• Kristopher Negron went 3-5 with a solo HR (6).
• Miguel Rojas went 2-5 with a solo HR (1).
• Pedro Villarreal allowed 3 runs in 7 innings with a walk and 7 strikeouts.
• Nick Christiani threw 3 shutout innings with 2 walks.
• Donnie Joseph threw 2 hitless innings with a walk and 3 strikeouts.
• Kanekoa Texeira threw a shutout inning with a walk and a strikeout.

Game notes

Felix Perez doubled with 1 out in the 13th inning and scored on a Daryl Jones single with 2 outs to give the Bats the 4-3 lead. Kanekoa Texiera came on to close it out for the win.

Game notes

Tony Cingrani had the worst start of his career, lasting just 3.2 innings and allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks with 3 strikeouts. He threw 90 pitches and just 47 strikes. Didi Gregorius is now hitting .339 in June with 8 walks and 6 strikeouts with a .446 slugging percentage. Brian Pearl with a strong AA debut with 2 strikeouts in 1.1 hitless innings.

Game notes

Yorman Rodriguez struggled in Bakersfield and headed to extended spring training to work on his swing and in his first game back with Dayton it paid off. Junior Arias extended his hitting streak to 6 games and is hitting .333/.366/.615 over his last 10 games  and .314/.351/.629 in June. Juan Perez extended his hitting streak to 7 games and is hitting .361 over his last 10 games. Juan Silva extended his hitting streak to 8 games and is hitting .400/.550/.733 over his last 10 games and has a 1.201 OPS in the month of June with 3 more walks than strikeouts. Game notes

Robert Maddox sparked a big 6th inning rally with 2 outs as he hit a 2 run home run, his second of the game, that led to 6 runs being scored with 2 outs by the Mustangs as they were able to extend their lead to 8-1.
